Visiting Service - Jean's 98-year-old mind is sharp as a tack, but in just three years she has gone from her home to a rest home, and lost most of her mobility, hearing, and sight. Her boredom and loneliness are unquenchable. The Age Concern visitor you have provided has been GOLD! She has come weekly, brought sweets, played games, read books, and shared warm conversations. She and Jean have become a fun, mutually adoring (and adorable) pair. Thank you and bless you for brightening our mother's sunset days.
Buddy Up - Thanks so much for this…I hung up the phone, called a brand-new old friend. We were there at the ‘Ukelele and Band Jam 30 minutes later! And it was splendid! One, probably both, of us will be seeing you by and by. I thank you, and my Masterton-born kids - both living overseas and feeling guilty - thank you (big-time).
