LifeCurve is an easy to use app that can help people to age well. It measures how people are ageing and shows ways for people to improve their own abilities. The app gives useful advice and empowers people to age well. Getting older does not have to mean losing abilities and independence. It’s about everyone having conversations about how to age well and it’s about changing people’s attitudes to aging.

20% of our aging is passed down by ancestry, 80% is based on the choices that we make.

The LifeCurve defines ageing by looking at Functional Ability rather than age, by assessing how well we perform 15 everyday activities, such as:

  • Cutting toenails
  • Shopping
  • Using steps
  • Walking 370 metres
  • Heavy housework
  • Full wash
  • Cook a hot meal
  • Moving around
  • Transfer from a chair
  • Light housework
  • Transfer from toilet
  • Get dressed
  • Wash face and hands
  • Eat independently.
